Practice Transformation Institute was founded as a non-profit organization in 2007 with a singular mission: to serve as the premier provider of learning events for physicians and their medical practice teams. IACET-certified, PTI is the only independent healthcare learning organization in the state to offer continuing medical education (CME) credits.   As the name indicates, Practice Transformation Institute is focused on transformation. That’s why PTI offers unique experiential learning programs for the Patient-Centered Medical Home and other primary care transformation initiatives.  We provide the operations component of training that is critically important, yet typically missing, from a physician’s continuing education. Further, we embrace the physician’s practice team to use continuing education as a tool for individual and collective growth for the entire practice.    Practice Transformation Institute offers learning experiences on a variety of operational and leadership topics, including population-based medicine and establishing population-based registries, medical practice coaching, and foundation workshops for transforming a primary care practice into a patient-centered medical home. From the development of policies and procedures to the team building strategies, PTI brings a new level of training and education to Michigan’s medical community.   Why Do We Do It?   Practice Transformation Institute is passionately committed to the use of experiential learning at all levels of an organization to realize meaningful, sustainable change and positive, measurable movement towards established goals and objectives.
